Dennis founded the practice in 1980 after a career in law enforcement and corporate security. He has been advising clients for over 40 years. Dennis earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rochester in 1972. In addition, Dennis has earned the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS) designation from the College for Financial Planning.
Dennis is the senior portfolio manager of the firm; actively advising clients and managing their investments. He splits his time between the Cincinnati and Sarasota offices.
Dennis and his wife Lillian lived in the Cincinnati community for over 40 years and now split time between Ohio and Florida. He has two children, Denny and Shiloh, and is the proud grandfather of Jack, Nick, Olivia and Elizabeth. Dennis enjoys golf, racquetball and spending time with his family.
Denny joined the firm in 1998 after earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University's School of Hospitality Administration. He has advanced investment management training from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton Business School as well as designations from the College for Financial Planning.
Denny is a co-portfolio manager of the firm; actively advising clients and managing their investments. He develops, monitors, and coordinates the financial planning process for clients.
Denny and his wife Ashley, a special education administrator in the Sycamore School District, are active in the Cincinnati community and help many local organizations such as the Barrett Cancer Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Crayons for Computers, All Pro Dads, Blue Ash Community Church and Operation Giveback. Their daughters, Olivia and Elizabeth, both attend Sycamore schools and are actively involved in sports and other extracurricular activities.
Office Manager, Investment Adviser
Melissa joined the firm in 2014 and brings over 23 years of professional experience in the financial services industry and a dedication to client service. Previously she worked as a licensed associate with Morgan Stanley, Touchstone Securities, A.G. Edwards and Fidelity Investments. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Northern University (ONU) in 1997 in Political Science and History. While at ONU, she played volleyball, participated in Model United Nations and went overseas to study Political Science in Debrecen, Hungary at the Kossuth Lajos University.
Melissa assists in portfolio management, financial planning, website and social media content, client service, compliance and administration.
Melissa and her husband John Schneeman reside in Maineville and have been active members of the community for over 20 years. They have four children, Johnathan, Olivia, Andrew and Ethan. Johnathan attends Ohio University and is a member of the Bobcats Esports Club. Olivia is a student at Kings High School where she plays tennis and will soon be heading to college. Andrew attends Western Brown Local Schools and plays baseball. Ethan also attends Kings High Schools and participates in swimming and lacrosse. Melissa in her spare time enjoys reading, tennis, politics and spending time with family and friends.
Judy joined the firm in 2018 and assists part-time with client service and operations. Prior to joining the firm, Judy served as an office manager for Sycamore High School for ten years before retiring in 2016. Bringing her 30 years of administrative experience, she assists with computer software development and project management.
Outside of Future Financial, Judy serves as a volunteer at West Chester Hospital in the trauma unit as well as assisting at the front information desk. She also volunteers with Animal Friends Humane Society as a dog walker and also assists in a variety of positions at her church.
Judy resides in West Chester and has been an active member of the community since moving there. Judy has a daughter and two grandchildren and lives just a short distance from them. She also has a son who lives in Leesburg (VA) who she travels to see several times per year. Attempting to evade some of Ohio's winter, Judy spends four weeks in Jensen Beach (FL).
Lisa joined the firm in 2018 and also works part-time in client service and operations. Prior to joining Future Financial, Lisa worked for over 30 years with the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation (OBWC). She held various positions with OBWC with her most recent being Training Manager responsible for the coordination of employee programs and management of employee learning records. Her early years with OBWC were spent in the accounts receivable and budget departments.
